(Part 2 of 2) What is ‘salvation’? Can you be disqualified?
Is ‘salvation’ unconditional or conditional? This article will clear up the confusion by distinguishing the two promises given Abraham’s descendants from each other, one promise being unconditional (discussed in part 1) and the other conditional (part 2, this study). More importantly, this article will answer a deeper question that keeps so many people unsure of their relationship with their Creator and that is: “what is salvation?”
I warn you before reading: the conclusion you will find should instill a healthy fear of YHWH and give you great joy at the same time by finding concrete answers. If you are like me, since the day I first heard the good news of the Kingdom I have only desired to find out:
1) What is expected from me 2) What is the end goal? 3) How do I achieve the goal?
PART 2 of two part series:
(PART 1 ~ last week) The UNCONDITIONAL promise giving our father Abraham DESCENDANTS (we are a fulfilment of this promise in the Savior)

(PART 2 ~ this article) The CONDITIONAL covenantal requirement for Abraham’s DESCENDANTS (you and me in the Savior) to INHERIT THE LAND given our father Abraham (the geographical coordinates of the coming 1000 year Kingdom on Earth)
INTRODUCTION
The goal of this two part study “what is ‘salvation’?” is to display our covenant responsibility upon entering covenant relationship with the Savior and the severe consequences for not walking in the relationship, also known as not overcoming sin. The heartbeat of the New Covenant is that Elohim (God) found us in our sin and rebellion and called us out of darkness and into His marvellous light so we could then walk in the light as He is in the light. He sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts so that by our new nature we could choose to die to ourselves, cling to our covenant partner conforming to His death, and be empowered by the Helper to live for the One who died for us. Blood covenant relationship is best summarized by repeating a phrase given in a modern day marriage ceremonies (a blue print of biblical blood covenant) “till death do us part”.
I pray this articles strengthens your walk in finding answers similar to the ones I desperately sought my entire walk as a believer. He answered my diligent efforts of seeking by providing this very special covenant revelation bringing clarity to most every subject of scripture.
For most of us it seems there always remains somewhat of a lack of assurance of “salvation” as doubts come to even the most sincere believer. Much of the problem is lacking the knowledge to not see the big picture allowing us to grasp the heartbeat of walking in covenant. I believe for the sincere follower of the Savior a doubt remains because there are plenty of New Testament scriptures which annul an easy “grace message” that dominates modern day Christian teaching. On the flip side many focus on “keeping laws” while becoming a Martha and completely lose focus on the Bridegroom. So, while you may find the conclusions shared in this message fearful, finding the meaning of those who will fall short of entering the promises we have inherited (also defined as falling short of the grace of Elohim/God ~ Hebrews 12:15), a sincere believer welcomes the message with joy because knowledge of the truth can only do one thing, and that is set you free.
The phrases “are you saved?” or “I am saved...” (when asking or sharing a testimony), among many others, also generally carries somewhat of an automated doctrinal beliefs that goes something like this:
we are all heading to “heaven” cause we are all “saved” ...
INHERITING THE EARTH
Is heaven really the destination and how the story ends? If the story of scripture began with Adam having access to the Tree of Life (Genesis 2:9, 3:22) here ON EARTH then wouldn’t it seem logical that the story also ends up back in the same location with access to that same Tree of Life? (Revelation 2:7, 22:2, 22:14) . Take a look at all these scriptures:
Who is the man that fears YHWH? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses. He himself shall dwell in prosperity, and his descendants SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH. The secret of YHWH is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. PSALM 25:12-14
Psalm 25:12-14 summarizes our topic well of “inheriting the earth” which it is those who FEAR YHWH are shown His covenant. The inheritance of the covenant promises originate with Abraham as we been made an heir of these promises through our relationship with the Savior (Matthew 3:9, Matthew 8:11, Luke 3:8, Galatians 3:29, Romans 4:12, Romans 9:7-8, Hebrews 2:16, James 2:23-24).
Other scriptures of a future inheritance being given here on earth are Psalm 2:8, Psalm 37:9, Psalm 39:11 Psalm 37:22, Psalm 82:8, Isaiah 49:8, Jeremiah 16:19, including a verse spoken on the “sermon on the mount”:
Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth. MATTHEW 5:5
It is extremely important to note that “doing evil” is associated with not following our covenant instructions. The evildoers will NOT receive their inheritance.
For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on YHWH, They shall inherit the earth. PSALM 37:9
THREE FINAL DESTINATIONS NOT TWO
The problem with the concept of ‘salvation’ is that it carries with it an idea that “you can’t lose your salvation” as only two destinations are often taught:
DESTINATION #1 = GOING TO "HELL"DESTINATION #2 = GOING TO "HEAVEN"
That’s it? No other destinations? If you have assumed these are the only two destinations possible after death do not feel alone. We all have been taught this theory. Even at a funeral everybody normally speaks about the person who just died being in ‘heaven’. I was recently at my wife’s grandmothers funeral and both of her sons who are believers in Jesus spoke how she is in a better place right now in ‘heaven’.
This ‘heaven’/’hell’ concept dominates Christian pulpits because they can not connect covenant dots of which the proper understanding of ‘salvation’ is anchored to promises given Abraham. And, they cannot see the correlation how not receiving your inheritance is equal to not being allowed into the Kingdom, the LAND promised Abraham. Without being able to tightly weave the covenant terms and conditions (through eight covenants YHWH made with man, the first 7 being the makeup of the first covenant) which run parallel themes thoughout scripture from Adam of SEED & LAND, the story of the Bible is severed in modern day Christian theology as:
- New Testament verses Old Testament
- Christian verses Israel
- Gentiles verses Jews
- ‘Heaven’ verses Physical Land given Abraham (as a destination)
Each subject matter above is worthy of its own article but for purposes of this topic we are focusing on the latter. Each of these subjects are side effects of not being able to sow scriptural interperation together as a seamless story. Please remain open as it is important we challenge this theory ‘Heaven’ so you see the end of the road.
So, “what if” we have not viewed our destination through the proper perspective? In order to quickly get to our covenant study allow me to quickly share with you we have discovered mirror image themes from the garden to Mt Sinai to the coming Kingdom, and our findings are that there are actually THREE DESTINATIONS for every soul.
DESTINATION 1 = THE LAKE OF FIRE (unbelievers and exceedingly wicked believers)DESTINATION 2 = INSIDE THE GATES OF THE CITY (believers keeping their covenant)DESTINATION 3 = THOSE OUTSIDE THE GATES (believers breaking their covenant)
This topic as well is worthy of its own article. Please examine this one verse that clearly demonstrates the division of believers ~ those with access to the Tree of Life and those outside the gates.
Blessed are those who do His commandments (KEEP THEIR COVENANT), that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But OUTSIDE (BREAKING THEIR COVENANT) are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. REVELATION 22:14-15
The themes of the two promises of SEED & LAND, beginning with Adam, run through our father Abraham who became beneficiary of these promises, and also upon which sits the New Testament writings. The roots of the promises are in Adam upon when he first lost his inheritance by being removed from the LAND he was first placed.
Why did Adam LOOSE his inheritance? Because he BROKE his covenant instructions to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. A sobering reminder of Adam’s consequences is to simply ask ourselves this question:
How is it possible that Adam lost his inheritance as a direct result of disobeying his covenant instructions, and you or I could believe we could regain that LAND where the Tree of Life is located through disobeying our covenant instructions?
Sadly, most believers have no clue what a covenant is, how to define the New Covenant, and are not aware of the binding nature of blood covenant so the belief that “heaven” is where everybody ends up is a major contributor to not being able to reconcile so many scriptures. I hope I have demonstrated that EARTH is were all people have dwelt since Adam and will always be where they dwell. Even when there is a new heavens and a new earth at the end of 7000 years don’t you suppose it is the new earth which souls will be dwelling in?
An eye opening parallel subject to receiving our inheritance and how important this topic is is that there is also a first resurrection of the dead on the line as well for believers as well.
...that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. PHILIPPIANS 3:10-11
Paul likens the goal of attaining the resurrection from the dead to him being conformed to the death of the Savior. This idea of dying to our sinful nature and its desires is consistent with Paul’s writings (see Galatians 2:20 & Romans 6:1-18) and has everything to do with not being disqualified from our inheritance and missing the first resurrection of the dead awaiting the faithful bride. Notice the connection to being disqualified and disciplining ourselves.
I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. 1 CORINTHIANS 9:27
It is important to run a seamless theme from Adam & Eve (Adam’s bride) to the last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45) & those who partake in the first resurrection (the last Adam’s faithful bride)
Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim (God) and of Messiah, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. REVELATION 20:6
Notice the position granted the faithful for 1000 years: TO BE PRIESTS OF ELOHIM.
WHERE DID THE IDEA OF BECOMING A PRIEST FIRST ORIGINATE?
Our PRIESTHOOD OFFER is anchored into Abraham’s promises of SEED and LAND as the rest of this article will demonstrate for you. Being OFFERED the exclusive position as a kingdom of priests and a special treasured possession unto Elohim (God) (Exodus 19:4-6, 1 Peter 2:9) is directly connected to Abraham’s blood covenant promise for LAND as his descendants first opportunity at Mt Sinai failed miserably, almost immediately. This is the entire reason our Savior came and OFFERED us a New Covenant carrying the exact same covenant OFFER to become PRIESTS of Elohim:
THE PEOPLE REJECTED THE OFFER AT MT SINAI
(Moses makes seven trips up Mt Sinai, the single-most important piece of scriptural interpretation)
Below is a summary of what occurred on each of the SEVEN TRIPS that Moses made up and down Mt Sinai 3500 years ago in an attempt to establish a covenant relationship for the people with YHWH and fulfil the promises made to Abraham. It is crucial to see what occurred on each trip as the New Covenant and New Testament are the result of the outcome of this disastrous encounter the people had with YHWH.
A covenant has:
- an OFFER with TERMS and CONDITIONS
- an ACCEPTANCE
- CEREMONY with a marriage supper
- SIGNATURE (in blood)
Pay close attention to the overview below of these seven trips Moses made; particularly, pay attention between TRIPS 3 & 5 when, as a result of the people shrinking back in fear on TRIP 3, that on TRIP 4 YHWH introduces to Moses “THE PROPHET TO COME AFTER MOSES” to solve their problem of intimacy with a Creator whom nobody can see His face and live (EXODUS 33:20), which would be the Son of Man taking on the likeness of men (Philippians 2:7) 1500 years later. The people are then caught worshipping the golden calf while Moses is on the mountain on TRIP 5 severing the covenant and its OFFER to become a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, and His special treasured possession.
AN OVERSIMPLIFIED SUMMARY OF MOSES' SEVEN TRIPS UP MT SINAI (the attempt to fulfil the blood covenant promise to Abraham BY ENTERING COVENANT WITH YHWH and TAKING ABRAHAM'S DESCENDANTS TO THE LAND)TRIP 1 = OFFER to be a Kingdom of Priests, Holy Nation, special treasuredpossession. The CONDITIONS "IF YOU OBEY MY VOICE & KEEP MY COVENANT"TRIP 2 = ACCEPTANCE by the people (Wedding to take place on 3rd day on TRIP 3)TRIP 3 = PEOPLE FEAR and do not go up with Moses.* THE TEN COMMANDMENTS SPOKEN WHILE PEOPLE at the bottom of the mountain *TRIP 4 = PEOPLE SEND MOSES OUT OF FEAR on their behalfMOSES TOLD A PROPHET WILL COME AFTER HIM WHICH IS THE SAVIOR* THEY BLOOD RATIFY THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT at the bottom of the mountain *TRIP 5 = 1/2 WAY MARRIAGE SUPPER with 70 eldersREST OF THE WAY UP Moses is gone for 40 days*** ALL THE PEOPLE ARE FOUND WORSHIPPING THE GOLDEN CALF AT THE BOTTOM ***THE OFFER OF PRIESTHOOD IS OVER!!! NONE OF THE 1ST GENERATION ENTERED THE LAND!!! ABRAHAM'S PROMISES MUST WAIT 1500 YEARS IN MESSIAH TO RENEW ORIGINAL PLAN (the rest of this article addresses this)TRIP 6 = INTERCESSION for the people's sinTRIP 7 = A TEMPORARY COVENANT CALLED "THE LAW OF MOSES" making Moses the LAWGIVER until the Messiah comes to "end" this covenant (Romans 10:4)Please see the link below for full details surrounding the SEVEN TRIPS Moses made up and down Mt Sinai. The entire New Testament interpretation is seen clearly as to WHY Moses went up each time.
THE LAW OF MOSES
“The Law of Moses” is the most important scriptural term in all of the Bible to properly define. There is no close second. Most likely you have not been able to define this term accurately because it is deeply hidden. It is buried in plain site amidst the “big picture” of scripture. By assembling the pieces of the covenant puzzle and breaking down WHY Moses made SEVEN complete roundtrips up and down Mt Sinai, we have precisely identified this most illusive term of scripture. Please consider carefully examining the above article detailing these seven trips. The events surrounding the SEVENTH TRIP Moses made up Mt Sinai is what formed THE TEMPORARY COVENANT given Moses, scripturally known as “The Law of Moses”.
Before I share the definition in more detail please allow me to explain WHY this definition is so important to define accurately. This is the lynchpin of all scriptural interpretation, allowing one to see a seamless story, connecting the Old and New Testaments. What occurred on Mt Sinai is both WHY we are Abraham’s descendants and WHY the ultimate covenantal reason the Son had to come...to fulfil Abraham’s promises of bringing his DESCENDANTS into the LAND promised him. This promise is still not fulfilled yet until those found worthy to enter the land will be chosen. This is the future Kingdom of Elohim (God) established here on earth for 1000 years.
TWO GROUPS OF BELIEVERS STUMBLING OVER THIS DEFINITION: (generally speaking)
THE CHRISTIAN: they define this phrase as meaning “all laws” either meaning “all laws @ Mt Sinai” or “all laws in the Old Testament”. They do however see this phrase clearly written in the New Testament as a negative thing which we are “not under”. Paul’s writings become incredibly twisted to support this assumption. The part they miss is not knowing there was an original plan gone bad at Mt Sinai which was its OFFER was renewed in the blood of Messiah.
THE HEBREW ROOTS/MESSAINIC/TORAH OBSERVANT: they define this phrase as meaning “the first five books of Moses”. The coining of this phrase stems from rabbinic Judaism and has been carried through Judaism through centuries. Naturally, as deeper truth began to be discovered such as Feast days, clean foods, Hebrew mindset, correct scriptural definitions, letters, and language this movement has been tainted by some concepts inherited from Judaism, this of which tops the list. The gross error of lumping Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers & Deuteronomy together and assigning it the SCRIPTURAL meaning of “The Law of Moses” doesn’t allow a person to rightly divide the story of scripture, resulting in gross misunderstanding of the backdrop of the New Testament writings, the foundation of the New Covenant, and precisely what occurred with the death, burial and resurrection of Yahusha/Jesus the Messiah. Many of these folks are in much worse shape than Christians (who can’t find a link to “laws” of our covenant) because many end up pulling far away from the Son, whom is the party of New Covenant (not the Father), as their foundational error results in so many doctrinal heresies.
SCRIPTURAL DEFINITION: ‘THE LAW OF MOSES’
The phrase “the Law of Moses” is scripturally defined as A TEMPORARY COVENANT given Moses upon his SEVENTH TRIP up Mt Sinai. Moses made four trips more than he should have if the original covenant offer would have been received with confidence. Upon the seventh trip of Moses for 40 days on top he received the 2nd set of stone tablets (he shattered the first set after coming down on his fifth trip upon finding them worshipping the golden calf) . This temporary covenant made Moses the LAWGIVER when YHWH gave him His Glory. That is why it is called:
THE LAW OF (WHO?). It is scripturally called THE LAW OF -->> MOSES.
The Levites repented for their part of the worship of the golden calf as they followed their instructions to take up swords and ended up killing 3000. While this sounds harsh, this is the penalty of a broken blood covenant. I pray you receive some shivers thinking of our consequences for disobedience as Hebrews 10:26-29 directly compares this occurrences for wilful sin to even more severe punishment to us. So, for their atonement of their sin they were given the priesthood (temporarily until the Yahusha/Jesus came) in exchange for the firstborn Israelites (the other 11 tribes).
The book of Leviticus was also simultaneously given on that seventh trip during those 40 days. The first seven chapters are instructions of the institution of the sacrificial system as a result of the breaking of the blood ratified covenant. Moses took immediate action upon learning of the calf they made and pled to YHWH by the unconditional blood covenant promise which YHWH made with Abraham 430 years earlier to narrowly avoid them all getting "blotted out from under heaven" and a nation made out of Moses. For their sin however, the people were consequently blotted out of YHWH's book (Exodus 32:33) for their actions which meant they lost their inheritance, which was Him & the LAND. Moses came down the mountain with a veil over his face. Paul calls this temporary covenant "the ministry of death" in 2 Corinthians 3 which came engraved on stone tablets. To administer this covenant Moses separated himself from everybody by moving his tent to outside the camp as he met with the Messenger (Angel) of YHWH and spoke to him face to face over the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant as the pillar of cloud hovered over his tent.
BIG PICTURE OF MT SINAI
This was the first time in 2500 years of human history that the Creator was attempting to enter covenant with an entire nation, Abraham’s descendants. The goal at Mt Sinai was to enter covenant with Abraham’s descendants and make them beneficiaries of a kingdom of priests and a holy nation by taking them right into the land He promised them. As we discussed in PART 1 the terms and conditions of the blood covenant for LAND involved the time frame of exactly 430 years after the covenant was made. Their breaking of the covenant added an extension of 1500 years awaiting the Savior to come and this is why “The Law of Moses” was “the guardian until faith came through Yahusha/Jesus” (Galatians 3:24-25). The original plan did not happened the way it was supposed to as they first FEARED and shrank back from their OFFER and then soon later was found COMMITTING AUDULTERY shortly after agreeing to the blood ratified covenant.
The overriding theme of scripture between Adam and being being changed (“born again”) by the Blood of the Lamb is that all people born into this world were born in Adam’s image and likeness after he broke his covenant and fell from the garden. There isn’t a page in the Old Testament after Mt Sinai that we do not read of a consistent disobedient people who did not believe and did not obey their covenant instructions. You must take a mature look at this “big picture” and see that people needed to be changed and simply had no power in themselves to obey. These two verses say it all:
(speaking of the New Covenant) Because finding fault with them (THE PEOPLE HE FOUND FAULT WITH, SPEAKING OF MT SINAI), He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— (Hebrews 8:8)
For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. GALATIANS 3:21-22
Look at these last two scriptures. At Mt Sinai, YHWH found fault with the people in that the people needed to be changed. The New Covenant (as the verses continue in Hebrews 8:8-10 quoting Jeremiah 31:31-33) wrote His laws on our hearts and our minds. These laws of our covenant are actually the same ones which were first SPOKEN at Mt Sinai (on TRIP 3), then written on the first set of stone tablets (after they feared), then written on second set of stone tablets (after they committed adultery).
Paul describes it that there was no law that could have been given to change the people but only when the SEED OF THE WOMAN (think “big picture” here) came to pay for Adam’s transgression by His blood, defeating both death and Satan, that could bring any hope for mankind. He said that all people from Adam to Moses we're confined under sin so that the promise (speaking of THE INHERITANCE, which is the LAND ~ I will show the prior verses in Galatians chapter 3 immediately below) “might” be given to those who believe.
It burdens my heart greatly to see that so many people cannot see how all this all works together. Basically, the time came to fulfil Abraham’s promise (who had been dead for over 300 years at this point) to take his descendants to the LAND. However, since all people are born in the flesh (in Adam) the first group of people coming out of Egypt could not obey by their very nature. This set into motion a 1500 year timespan that the promised SEED needed to come to “pay for the sins committed under the first covenant” (HEBREWS 9:15). Now, by taking a step back to see the “big picture” we can decode these controversial “law” verses? Here is a short list describing this TEMPORARY COVENANT called “The Law of Moses”:
- “ENDED” (Romans 10:4)
- “WAS FULFILLED” (Matthew 5:17)
- “WAS FULFILLED CONCERNING YAHUSHA" (Luke 24:44)
- “NOT OF FAITH” (Galatians 3:12)
- “MADE NOTHING PERFECT” (Hebrews 7:19)
- “ADDED FOR TRANSGRESSIONS” (Galatians 3:19)
- “KEPT UNDER GUARD BY" (Galatians 3:23)
- “THE GUARDIAN/TUTOR” (Galatians 3:24)
- “AFTER FAITH CAME (SPEAKING OF YAHUSHA/JESUS) WE WERE NO LONGER IN NEED OF A GUARDIAN/TUTOR” (GALATIANS 3:25)
- "CHANGED W THE LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD” (Hebrews 7:11-12)
- "WAS ‘UNTIL’ JOHN" (Luke 16:16)
- "WAS ‘UNTIL’ THE SEED TO WHOM THE PROMISE REFERRED HAD COME" (Galatians 3:19)
- "WAS 'UNTIL' SHILOH COMES" (Genesis 49:10)
- "WHAT YAHUSHA WAS BORN ‘UNDER THE LAW’ TO REDEEM THOSE ‘UNDER THE LAW’" (Galatians 4:4-5)
- “APART FROM ‘THE LAW’ A RIGHTEOUSNESS IS MADE KNOWN” (Romans 3:21)
- "PUT THEM ‘UNDER LAW’" (Romans 6:14-15)
- “LED BY THE SPIRIT, YOU ARE NOT ‘UNDER THE LAW’” (Galatians 5:18)
- “FREED FROM THE LAW” (Romans 7:4)
- “DELIVERED FROM THE LAW” (Romans 7:6)
- “COULD NOT JUSTIFY YOU” (Acts 13:39)
- “NOBODY IS JUSTIFIED BY” (Galatians 3:11)
- "CAME THROUGH MOSES" (John 1:17)
- “FALLEN FROM GRACE BY LEAVING MESSIAH" (Galatians 5:4)
THE CONFUSION OF THESE VERSES
By misunderstanding the correct scriptural definition of “The Law of Moses” the “Torah Observant” believer reads these verses above and completely miss the overarching theme of scripture. They can’t allow these verses to mean what they say because they do not fit into their doctrines formed around “The Law of Moses” falsely being defined as “The First Five Books of Moses”. So all issues are mixed into a melting pot of ideas and thus in many ways they marginalise the death, burial and resurrection of the Savior. They even redefine the “New Covenant” as to mean a “Renewed Covenant” because they lack rightly dividing points.
The Christian reads these same verses and believes the New Covenant is a completely new and separate arrangement from Mt Sinai. The deception is compounded by not being able to grasp the covenant function of grace, which grants us TIME to reach maturity by obeying our covenant and are veiled to what “laws were written on our hearts and minds” (Hebrews 8:8-10). Most cannot see a seemless story by which the New Covenant and New Testament writings are directly connected to Mt Sinai and thus the cause for so many errant doctrines, including our topic of “what is salvation?”
My goal is to help you tie the New Testament into its proper interpretation by seeing what occurred at Mt Sinai 3500 years ago. The story of scripture will come into new light and you will be shown revelation on so many subjects, and ultimately it may be that driving force of knowledge you need to overcome this life. You see, when we became “born again” and first entered the New Covenant, that OFFER to become a kingdom of priests and holy nation was RENEWED giving us the hope of eternal life. That same spoken covenant OFFER, the TEN COMMANDMENTS, was written upon our hearts and minds. This is why you then became convicted by disobeying this covenant, even though you most likely didn’t know what occurred. Do you remember the Holy Spirit making you feel guilty for sexual sin, lust, greed, envy, jealousy, stealing, hatred, unforgiveness, etc? This is the Spirits job. So, as it relates to the covenant entry through His blood, it’s as if, spiritually speaking, we took a journey back with Moses on that third trip and “heard His Voice”...
Below we are going to see how Paul in Galatians 3:17-19 is showing how this promise of inheritance was forfeited by the first generation of Abraham’s descendants coming out of Egypt, causing the Law of Moses to extend the plan until the SEED (The Savior) came to bring in the New Covenant. In the terms below I define “INHERITANCE” and “PROMISES” as the “GENESIS 15 COVENANT FOR LAND”. I am ending this article by showing that the blood covenant made in Genesis 15:8-21 is equal to in modern day termilogy as a “Last Will and Testament”. It is huge to see the “big picture” plan of how you and I in the Savior have a chance to receive an incorruptable INHERITANCE (1 Peter 1:4) which “The Law of Moses” could not achieve.
GALATIANS 3:17-19 ~ THE PROMISE OF THE NEW COVENANT, a continuation of Mt Sinai
Paul says it this way:
LET’S ESTABLISH TERMS:
INHERITANCE: (GENESIS 15 COVENANT FOR LAND) PROMISE: (GENESIS 15 COVENANT FOR LAND) LAW: (LAW OF MOSES ~ ALTERNATIVE COVENANT) TRANSGRESSION: (GOLDEN CALF) ANGELS: (“THE ANGEL OF YHWH") MEDIATOR: (MOSES)
...this I say, that the law (LAW OF MOSES), which was four hundred and thirty years later , cannot annul the covenant (GENESIS 15 COVENANT FOR LAND) that was confirmed before by Elohim (God) in Messiah that it should make the promise (GENESIS 15 COVENANT FOR LAND) of no effect. For if the inheritance (GENESIS 15 COVENANT, LAND) is of the law (THE LAW OF MOSES), it is no longer of promise; but Elohim gave it to Abraham by promise. What purpose then does the law (LAW OF MOSES) serve? It was added because of transgressions (GOLDEN CALF), till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels (THE ANGEL) by the hand of a mediator (MOSES). GALATIANS 3:17-19
Paul is saying that the promises of becoming a kingdom of priests and holy nation in the LAND promised our father Abraham is our inheritance awaiting us!!! That is what becoming “an heir” means. We are nest of kin to inherit (if we do not disqualify ourself) See 10 verses later:
...if you are in Messiah, then you are Abraham’s descendants, and HEIRS according to the promise. GALATIANS 3:29
TWO PART SERIES “WHAT IS SALVATION?”
(PART 1 ~ last week) The UNCONDITIONAL promise giving our father Abraham’s DESCENDANTS (we are a fulfilment of this promise in the Savior)
~~verses~~
(PART 2 ~ this article) The CONDITIONAL covenantal requirement for Abraham’s DESCENDANTS (you and me in the Savior) to INHERIT THE LAND given our father Abraham (the geographical coordinates of the coming 1000 year Kingdom on Earth)
PART 2 “Can you lose your inheritance?”
In PART 1 we discussed the problem in believing that “salvation” is an unconditional covenant promise as often assumed. In viewing the unconditional promise in PART 1 if you remember we discussed an important point that we must make a distinction that there are actually TWO PROMISES and not just one. One promise is unconditional and the other is conditional. By distinguishing the two from each other we can bring clarity to this subject.
TWO PROMISES
1) UNCONDITIONAL PROMISE:
We become Abraham's descendants when we first believe and place our faith in the Son who died for us in the same way Abraham believed he would have a son promised by Yahuah. Both Abraham’s son Isaac and the Son of Man (Yahusha/Jesus) are both the promised SEED (singular) which was handed all the way down from the promise of the garden that the SEED (singular) of the woman would crush the head of the Serpent (Genesis 3:15).
ABRAHAM’S PROMISE:
Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed in Yahuah, and He accounted it to him for righteousness. GENESIS 15:5-6
This unconditional promise is:
DESCENDANTS FOR ABRAHAM
“Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.
This promise was unconditional as it relates to Abraham. What was the promise? That against all odds Abraham would have descendants as great as the stars in the sky.
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed Elohim (God), and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” ... who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of Elohim (God) through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to Elohim (God), and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” ROMANS 4:3/18-22
There is something about trusting in the promises with all your heart that is the only thing that pleases our Father in heaven. We can learn much from Abraham and how deep of a level of trust he had as our inheritance is directly tied to our trusting in the our promised Savior who is the one who will reward us with the words ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your master’ (Matthew 25:21), or we will hear the words ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:23). These verses are speaking of who receives their inheritance which is tied to obeying our covenant instructions. This leads us into the conditional promise given Abraham which we will address next.
In the two covenant parable of Galatians 4:21-31 Paul equates those at Mt Sinai as being born slaves (because they did not receive the promise of the Spirit as we have in Messiah) comparable to Abraham’s child born of the flesh Ishmael, who was born of disbelief through Sarah giving Abraham Hagar to have sex with. In the same comparison he compares Isaac who was born as the promised son to those of us born again in Yahusha/Jesus.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. GALATIANS 4:28
Both promises of SEED & LAND went through Isaac (see Genesis 26:4) and then through Isaac’s son Jacob who’s name was changed to Israel. So, by entering covenant with the Son we become numbered as a “star in the sky” so-to-speak as if on that day when YHWH brought Abraham outside we were the faces he saw scattered throughout the sky. We become his children through our belief in the Son in the fulfilment of making Abraham a “father of many nations”. It then is up to us how we choose to dedicate our lives to join them one day soon in the LAND.
2) CONDITIONAL PROMISE
THE CRUCIAL QUESTION OF THIS STUDY: “Can you be disqualified?”
As it relates to“salvation” is there possibly something you have never thought of because I know I never did. It was only until we discovered the intended covenantal perspective (which we teach from in this Facebook group: Blood of the Eternal Covenant) that we could begin to reconcile the hundreds of difficult New Testament verses and parables that certainly did not fit the idea that “everybody who believes in the Savior is ‘saved’ in the same way”. There were always so many New Testament verses that simply implied a distinct different result of those who live a faithful life to believers living unfaithfully. I hope you can relate to me in my struggle reconciling the scriptures because it also is difficult to envision these disobedient believers in “Hell” either. We have already addressed the three destinations of believers above so I hope you are ready to connect the dots of the mechanical aspect of how our inheritance is actually written into covenant form. Our destination is related to either the receiving of or being rejected from our inheritance which is the geographical coordinates spelled out in the blood covenant given Abraham.
Descendants receive their parents possessions upon death. It is as simple as of a concept as this. I would like you to think about yourself and what it means to have children. If you have no children how could you pass any of your legacy to future generations? Doesn’t your talents, name, trade (farmer, carpenter, etc), and possessions fade away after your death? How could any of it continue with your existence wiped from the earth? It couldn’t be passed down, right?
Well, this is precisely the concept of scripture that there was a genealogy from the beginning that runs from the Son of Man through David, Judah, Jacob/Israel, Isaac, Abraham, Noah, and through Seth all the way back to Adam. What was it that was passed down through all these people beginning with Adam? You got it... THE LAND WHERE ADAM ONCE WAS BANISHED! The genealogy of the Savior is recorded for us in Luke 3:23-38.
The baptism of Yahusha/Jesus immediately preceded this genealogy. What was Luke trying to tell us? Luke is showing us that His baptism began the ministry of the promise SEED (singular) of Genesis 3:15 who would crush the head and authority of the Serpent and began to find those who would follow Him as He is the way to the place He has prepared for us (John 14:1-3).
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. JOHN 14:2
We are now going to anchor the promise of inheritance to the Last Will and Testament of scripture. We will then end with parables showing the interpretation is believers who are disqualified from receiving their inheritance.
GENESIS 15:8-21 THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF YHWH (this has everything to do with us in the New Covenant)
DEFINITION OF A LAST WILL AND TESTAMENTA will or testament is a legal document by which a person, the testator, expresses his wishes as to how his property is to be distributed at death, and names one or more persons, the executor, to manage the estate until its final distribution.
- THE LEGAL INSTRUMENT The Blood Covenant of Genesis 15:8-21 (we will examine) made between the Father & Son to distribute to Abraham & future descendants (this day is coming soon)
- THE TESTATOR This was YHWH & His pre-incarnate Son expressing His wishes as to how his property is to be distributed
- THE EXECUTOR This is the one in charge of managing the estate after death (this is you and me in Yahusha/Jesus)
- THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION is the Day the property is disposed to the named persons (this is only those found faithful to qualify for their inheritance)
THE LAST WILL & TESTAMENT OF SCRIPTURE
THE LEGAL INSTRUMENT
THE LEGAL INSTRUMENT (GENESIS 15:8-21 Blood Covenant)(Genesis 15:19-21) On the same day YHWH made A COVENANT (THE LEGAL INSTRUMENT) with Abram, saying: “To your descendants I have given THE LAND (PROPERTY TO BE DISTRIBUTED), from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates— the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.”Why is this THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of scripture?1) This was the Creator giving His land to Abraham's descendants. The smoking oven and a burning torch made this agreement with each other. (see THE TESTATOR)2) An ANCIENT BLOOD COVENANT is made when two parties walk through split animals cut into two (see verses 9 & 10). It binds the parties unto death and signifies the same penalty of death for any party breaking the agreement. Abraham, nor future descendants, is a party to this covenant. Abraham & descendants will both be added to this covenant later to prove their worthiness of gaining their INHERITANCE (THIS LAND). This becomes very important to see this aspect because *** IF *** the beneficiary would have *** KEPT *** the Testators covenant given at Mt Sinai, and onward, then the possessions would have been distributed without a death occurring. (see FINAL DISTRIBUTION)3) Abram did not have a son at this point in the story & was 75 years old despite YHWH's promise to make him a great nation and give him land (Genesis 12:1-3). Abram had been shown the LAND several times prior by YHWH. He had just finally believed in the unconceivable that he would have a son just two verses earlier in Genesis 15:6. This is why Abram asked in verse 8 "how will I know I will INHERIT the land?" because a person needs descendants to have any real value to his possessions.4) There are always two parties in every covenant, by very definition. The Burning Torch is standing in on behalf of Abram & his descendants as Executor of the Testator's estate. (see THE EXECUTOR)
THE TESTATOR
THE TESTATOR OF THE WILL (YHWH & pre-incarnate Son)(GENESIS 15:17) it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven (YHWH) and a burning torch (The pre-incarnate Son) that passed between those pieces.Three parties were present on that day (approx 4000 years ago):1) The Smoking Oven (YHWH)2) The Burning Torch (The Pre-Incarnate Son)3) Abram (put into a dead-like trance)Abram did NOT walk through the split animals pieces and was not part of this covenant. He and his descendants were the named parties to receive this land.SMOKING OVEN = YHWH is known as a consuming fire (Exodus 24:17, Deuteronomy 4:24, Isaiah 33:14, Hebrews 12:29)THE BURNING TORCH = (see verses below)ISAIAH 62:1 For Zion’s sake (LAND) I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her SALVATION (THE HEBREW NAME OF THE SAVIOR) as A LAMP (SAME STRONG'S NUMBER AS 'TORCH') THAT BURNS.JOHN 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.THE SON SAYS "ABRAHAM SAW MY DAY" & HE WAS "I AM" WHO SPOKE TO MOSES. SEE:JOHN 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced TO SEE MY DAY, and HE SAW IT (MADE THIS COVENANT) and was glad.” Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and HAVE YOU SEEN ABRAHAM?” Yahusha/Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, BEFORE ABRAHAM WAS, I AM.”IT IS THE MESSENGER OF YHWH WHO IS SPEAKING THAT SAYS "I AM THAT I AM. SEE:EXODUS 3:2/14 And THE MESSENGER (ANGEL) OF YHWH appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed... And Elohim (God) said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”This is no ordinary Messenger (Angel). He is THE MESSENGER of YHWH = We are told YHWH's name is in Him and doesn't forgive rebellion/sin (EXODUS 23:21) He took Abraham's descendnats up out of Egypt (EXODUS 14:19), was a pillar of fire and spoke to Moses face to face in his tent (EXODUS 33:10-11), and went ahead to prepare a place for them (EXODUS 23:20) in the same way the Son said He goes to prepare a place for us (JOHN 14:2) which is this LAND willed over to Abraham's descendants.
THE EXECUTOR
THE EXECUTOR OF THE WILL (The MESSENGER/ANGEL OF YHWH ~ the pre-incarnate Son)definition: the one who manages the estate until its final distribution.THE MESSENGER OF YHWH SAID HE MADE THIS COVENANT(JUDGES 2:1) Then THE MESSENGER/ANGEL OF YHWH came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said: “I LED YOU UP OUT OF EGYPT and brought you TO THE LAND OF WHICH I SWORE TO YOUR FATHERS; and I said, ‘I WILL NEVER BREAK MY COVENANT WITH YOU.THE MESSENGER OF YHWH WITHDREW FROM HIS HELP IN GIVING THEM THEIR INHERITANCE(next verses ~ JUDGES 2:2-5) And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this? Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; but they shall be thorns in your side, and their gods shall be a snare to you.’” So it was, when THE MESSENGER OF YHWH spoke these words to all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voices and wept.WHEN COMING IN THE FLESH ALL AUTHORITY HAS BEEN GIVEN HIM, WHICH IS GIVING AWAY HIS FATHERS POSSESSION ALSO KNOWN AS ETERNAL LIFE.“ALL AUTHORITY has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. MATTHEW 28:18Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY. JOHN 6:54And I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. JOHN 10:28YOU HAVE GIVEN HIM AUTHORITY OVER ALL FLESH, that HE SHOULD GIVE ETERNAL LIFE to as many as You have given Him. JOHN 17:2And behold, I am coming quickly, and MY REWARD IS WITH ME, TO GIVE TO EVERYONE ACCORDING TO HIS WORK. REVELATION 22:12
THE WILL OF ABRAHAM PLAYS OUT 400 YEARS
The terms of the Will: (Genesis 15:13-14)
1) Abraham’s descendants would be enslaved and mistreated 400 YEARS 2) YHWH would punish that nation who enslaved them 3) They would leave with great possessions 4) The Sin of the Amorites reach full measure
Abraham has a son from Sarah at age 100, Isaac, and Isaac has a son name Jacob whom both receive the same offer. At precisely the exact moment of 400 years Abraham’s multiplied descendants came out of Egypt with great possessions as YHWH punished that nation with 10 plagues, the tenth being the most severe causing all firstborn to be killed.
THE GOAL: YHWH TO ENTER COVENANT WITH THEM AND ENTER HIS LAND
As we discussed above that the 400 years transpired and they never achieved their inheritance... as a side note: those people in the LAND (called Israel by the United Nations) today not in the Savior it does not belong to them. The LAND today looks nothing like the future Kingdom coming which the Messiah in all of His Glory will reign and rule.
ENTER THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION still awaiting a future day for those found faithful in the New Covenant.
THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION
THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE WILL(Definition) The testator, expresses his wishes as to how his property is to be distributed at death, and names one or more persons, the executor, to manage the estate until its final distribution. So, when did the testator of this will die? That's only when a will is enforced. Let's look at Hebrews 9:15-17:And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force after men are dead, since it has no power at all while the testator lives. HEBREWS 9:15-17SUMMARY* Yahusha/Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant by MEANS OF DEATH* He redeemed the transgressions of the first covenant (the Law of Moses)* The TESTAMENT (Genesis 15:8-21) required THE TESTATOR TO DIE* YAHUSHA/JESUS IS THE TESTATOR WHO DIED* The FINAL DISTRIBUTION is ready to give away as the TESTAMENT IS IN FORCE NOW
This is the Good News of the Kingdom!! THE FINAL DISTRIBUTION is now Abraham’s descendants have been granted access through the Son’s death, the Testator, to overcome the power of death the devil holds to attain the first ressurection of the dead by being taken to the LAND promised Abraham also located where Adam once left the Tree of Life
And the Scripture, foreseeing that Elohim (God) would justify the Nations by faith, preached THE GOOD NEWS TO ABRAHAM beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.” GALATIANS 3:8
Through His death we have been made a Kingdom of Priests. Do you know what a Priest of Yahusha/Jesus does? He manages His estate until He comes back. We have been made the executor of His estate and fully responsible for the final distribution of our own inheritance and those others around us we can help receive their own.
See this parable:
PARABLE OF THE MASTER WHO RETURNS (LUKE 12:35-48)“Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”THE INTERPRETATIONThen Peter said to Him, “Master, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?”FOUR TYPES OF BELIEVERSGROUP 1) THOSE WAITING WHO RECEIVE ALL HIS POSSESSIONS (THOSE WHO RECEIVE FINAL DISTRIBUTION OF THE WILL)GROUP 2) THOSE BEATING THE SERVANTS (THEY ARE CUT IN TWO IN PAYMENT FOR BROKEN BLOOD COVENANT AND GO TO THE LAKE OF FIRE)GROUP 3) THOSE WHO KNEW THEIR COVENANT AND DID NOT KEEP IT (RECEIVED HARSH PUNISHMENT AND NO INHERITANCE)GROUP 4) THOSE WHO DID NOT KNOW THEIR COVENANT AND DID NOT KEEP IT (RECEIVED LIGHT PUNISHMENT AND NO INHERITANCE)And the Master said, (GROUP 1) “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master WILL MAKE RULER OVER HIS HOUSEHOLD, to give them their portion of food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler OVER ALL THAT HE HAS. But if that servant (GROUP 2) says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant (GROUP 3) who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he (GROUP 4) who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
The New Testament writings is written to BELIEVERS.
Let’s wrap up by looking at three different analogies regard-ing the FINAL DISTRIBUTION of the Testators in-heritance.
THREE ANALOGIES
1) Not doing the will of the Father in heaven
those who do not enter the Kingdom because they did not do the will of My Father in heaven which they practiced lawlessness
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Master, Master,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ MATTHEW 7:21-23NOTE: These are BELIEVERS who addressed Him as Master, Master (Lord, Lord) and prophesied, cast out demons, & done many wonders in His nameTERMS:The Kingdom = The location on earth for 1000 yearsThe Will of My Father = The Keeping of the Covenant (which they did not do)I never knew you = Intimacy not gained due to the breaking the covenantLawlessness = The breaking the CovenantPracticing = Habitually doing
2) Not being invited to join the Bridegroom
were foolish virgins who took no oil for their lamps and asked the wise virgins for oil when they heard the bridegroom was coming
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Master, Master' open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. MATTHEW 25:1-13NOTE: This parable is about the coming Kingdom addressing BELIEVERS who addressed Him as Master, Master (Lord, Lord) and are both foolish and wise virgins have the same Bridegroom.TERMS:The Kingdom: The location on earth for 1000 yearsThe Bridegroom: The Savior Yahusha/JesusHaving Oil For the Lamps: Keeping the Covenant RelationshipThe Wedding: The joining of the faithful Bride with the BridegroomThe Door Was Shut: The unfaithful bride cannot be with the Bridegroom
3) Those who’s INHERITANCE is taken away
HEIRS who are awaiting an INHERITANCE
WE HAVE BEEN MADE HEIRSTherefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then AN HEIR of Elohim (God) through Messiah. GALATIANS 4:7having been justified by His grace we should become HEIRS according to the hope of eternal life. TITUS 3:7Listen, my beloved brethren: Has Elohim (God) not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and HEIRS OF THE KINGDOM which He promised to those who love Him? JAMES 2:5An HEIR can be DISQUALIFIED from the receiving of their INHERITANCE...But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become DISQUALIFIED. 1 CORINTHIANS 9:27Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Yahuahs/Jesus Messiah is in you? — unless indeed you are DISQUALIFIED. 2 CORINTHIANS 13:5HEIR LOSING THEIR INHERITANCEDo you not know that the unrighteous WILL NOT INHERIT the kingdom of Elohim (God)? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners WILL INHERIT the kingdom of Elohim (God). And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Master Yahusha/Jesus and by the Spirit of our Elohim (God). 1 CORINTHIANS 6:9-11For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has ANY INHERITANCE in the kingdom of Messiah. EPHESIANS 5:5
Brothers and sisters, in conclusion:
HERE IS YOUR COVENANT
- Our OFFER is to become a Kingdom of Priests, a Set Apart (Holy) Nation unto YHWH and His special treasured possession.
- The Ten Commandments is our covenant TERMS written on our hearts and minds
- We ACCEPTED those terms upon CONFESSING Yahusha/Jesus as Master of our lives and believing in the promise SEED who raised from the dead
- The New Testament is how we administer the covenant. They are the statutes and decrees of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
- We have three annual appointed times to celebrate the giving of our Covenant. They are our wedding anniversaries and are opportunities of special sanctification of being with our Bridegroom. 1) Passover/Unleavened Bread/First Fruits = when He came to get us on eagles wings to bring us out of Egypt (Bablyon) and towards newness of life, 2) Shavu’ot (Pentecost) = when He first betrothed us with the pouring out of His Spirit unto our hearts, 3) Tabernacles = when He will some day soon gather His bride to take her to the LAND PROMISED ABRAHAM’S DESCENDANTS and dwell with her.
